Have you ever listened to an entire album, in order, over and over and over and . . . ?

When I've been home, I've been listening to enigma's "enigma2: the CROSS of changes" on repeat literally since this past October.
It's all good.

  • "Yes" ... when I'm in my car I listen to Cusco's Inner Journeys album over and over because the car radio's eject button doesn't work and the car's antenna is gone.  It's instrumental music, so it isn't quite as easy to tell that you heard the same song an hour ago.  :))

    That's a wonderful answer, ALF.
    :)

And as I so often seem to be saying lately -- I hope to come back and listen. I've been failing to listen lately.

  • Thanks for the compliment, Welby.  I was shooting for "nice,"  but "wonderful" is like one more Christmas gift!! That makes you pretty wonderful too.

I only posted one of the songs.  It takes up only five minutes of your life ... when you're ready. Enjoy.  :))

    Good word choices.

I know you really like this album from this and other past posts. I listened to it here in its entirety the other day. I like it, too!

I made Christmas cookies years ago to this album and went nuts.  It became my favorite for a year or more.

That'd have been fun to make cookies to this music with you -- I certainly enjoyed the album while I was doing this-and-that nearby my speakers here. In fact, it'd be good to listen to the album again tonight when I get off work maybe.
    :)

(Hi QUACK - - Unrelated to this question and your answer here - - - but if you look up at the first answer and its thread - - that's when I figured out that ALF was a 'Benedict Arnold' -- I called him by name in the thread under his answer.)

He is the least likely to get aroused abut anything or anyone.  Very strange.  If he disappeared, that means something.

As a teen, I would listen to 'The Doors' first album entitled ' The Doors.'  I wore one copy out and then wore out a second copy.

  • The Doors self-titled and their LA Woman album are two of theirs that I can listen to on repeat all day,  especially LA Woman.

I love that you love music so much.. and that you have such a wide and eclectic taste :)  I pretty much never ever ever ever like to listen to anything in order.. I deliberately choose a music system for my car that has a shuffle facility - I think I don't like predictability.. and I am not really one for knowing what's coming next.. I think I have a short attention span... Not saying that's a good thing but I rarely have the patience for whole albums..

There is only one exception.. The War of the Worlds - Jeff Wayne

I can't promise I'll succeed but here's to hoping I listen to your suggestions here. I don't know either one offhand.
    Thanks for posting them, kjames.

Many times. Every time Icehouse released a new album, I'd buy the vinyl and tape it - and wear the tape out, retape the record and wear that out too.

    That's a good strategy, though.

I heard Icehouse on the radio a while back and I thought of you.

Yes in grade school I listened to every new album over and over until I knew every word to every song.

Especially with artists I really liked, I ended up doing that, too.
