:) I guess I'll ask -- but don't want to appear stupid(er than usual) - - what's "have to be Garfield about it" mean? I assume it's something to do with the cartoon character?
It does have to do with Garfield, because he so loathes Mondays! (There was a prolonged period, in high school, when on each Monday something embarrassing would happen to me, such as losing my balance on the bus and almost crashing into a girl).
Aside from Garfield and (now vegetarian) lasagna, I also love antimeria: the use of one part of speech as another; in this case a (proper) noun as though it were an adjective.
And I never heard of antimeria. I LOVE that idea! And just reading about what it means - - I know you would be/are a master at its use! :)
Your Prolonged Embarrassing Monday Period - (whoa, that came out sort of goofy, ha!) - - sounds like stuff I sort of went through, too. I'm glad you've come through. :)
Tuesday (1:42 pm). Although I know it (probably because my mom drilled it into my brain all the time I was growing up), it holds no significance to me.
