    thanks, bhwilson.
    :)
I'm not so hot on Springsteen and Nugent but the rest I like a lot.
    :)

I set up my question badly - - I was hoping to see if anyone had favorite songs by my favorite artists that I listed. But the key part of the question is in little print under the bid font. Woops.

My favorite by Queen is "Fat Bottomed Girls." They're so good, though, I like pretty much anything by them. Except I tired of "Bohemian Rhapsody" simply because it was so overplayed.
I like "jump," too. And anything by The Rolling Stones I like.

I set my question up badly up there - - I was hoping to see if people had favorite songs by my favorite artists that I listed.
    :)
It's all good though -- it's fun to read about favorites by anyone.

    I'm glad you answered, thanks!

    What a weird list.
But then you should see mine.  I don't even know who is on it.

I'm a whim person.  It depends.

    Arcade Fire
    Peter Bence
    Randy Rainbow
    Beethoven
    Joni Mitchell
    Bob Dylan
    Kurt Cobain
    Jefferson Airplane
    Chris Isaaak
    Steve Perry
    Chris Cornel
    Patti Smith

    And so many many more

Here is the amazing voice of Chris Cornell and Audioslave.  Chris used to be lead singer of Soundgarden.

    He committed suicide.  Depression.

He's hot, too. Sad about his death.
    I like this!

Yeah, I was hoping to hear favorite songs by those on my favorite list up there. I phrased/formatted my question not so well.
Chris Isaak almost was my next person on my list up there. A strange list I have, yup.
    :)

    I like Smith, too.

Funny - - I've never been a big Beethoven fan. I do like a lot of his solo piano works. Orchestral stuff, not so much. :)

I've been hearing a lot of Beethoven for some reason, lately.  That's why I said that.  I like stuff from each master and don't know a lot about any of them, truthfully.

Of your list, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13 (just for Is that all there is?  LOL))
    and 14

Alice in Chains was soo soothing to me.  Soothing, deep and heavy.

I went to a concert with some friends- - I wasn't so excited to go, didn't liek the headliner at all. And I  had never heard Judd who opened. But Wynona rocked my world. It was fun for me, never having heard her before and then to hear and see her "live" -- loved it.
    :)

I like all the songs you posted of "my" favorites. :)

    Thanks!

Does that include the opening act?  Often that’s a new band just starting out.

I do not recall ever attending a concert where I was unaware of the opening acts music. There were times when I was more interested in the opening act than I was the headliner. I saw Skid Row open for Guns N Roses....I was going for Skid Row. GNR was just a bonus for me. This was the concert when the riot broke out in St Louis.

But I would look into the group IF I did not know of them before the concert.
I did get a free ticket once the night of a concert. But again I knew both acts. (Queensyche and Suicidal Tendencies)

I have heard this, yes!! My parents, especially my dad, were/are big Ray Charles fans and I heard a lot of his music growing up in the house.
    :)

I didn't set up my question so well up there - -  the key part of my question is in small  print, ha!

This Charles song was fun to hear again! Thanks! And I like the supporting background singers here, too.

Oh, I tend to just skim when I'm doing this.  I didn't understand but I'm glad I got to share my love for that song with you.  Enya was a favorite of mine too and I will send my favorite song from her as soon as I soon as I can choose one.  It's not easy when so many of them seem perfect.  How can one perfect thing be better than another?   That's what I tell my children when they ask me which one of them is my favorite.

You're one of the ones who actually answered my entire question, not just the part in bold print. :)

And, no surprise, every song you chose I like, too. :)

I'll have to look in to "Mental As Anything" --  I'm unfamiliar with that group or artist.
    Thanks for answering!
    :)

Australian band. One of their hits, If You Leave Me, Can I Come Too? has been covered by numerous acts including some from the US.
