I did it in my 5th grade civics class. They ARE the rules of society, after all, and you can't win if you don't know the rules.
Why did we STOP teaching civics? I think it's cause you can't GOVERN an informed populace. You can only RULE them.

Divulge as much or as little as you'd like about the subject matter of your current endeavors to acquire knowledge and skills. My parents never had it. My husband, who is older than I am, never had it. However, some older people associate people in my age group with participation trophies.
