My parents never had it. My husband, who is older than I am, never had it. However, some older people associate people in my age group with participation trophies. I never got one, but then again, my friends and I just didn’t do participation.I‘ve never even seen a participation trophy in real life. I remember doing that once in high school. It was a teacher I really liked. He gave me an evil look and warned me to never do that again. Why do some teachers get offended by that?
I still taste the red jelly donut from 5 years back. And, the green pesto from yesterday. I just discover soy sauce after 62 years. I am now a green tea freak.
