After I stole him he was still nervous wreak so I would pat him on the head and say - dar dar dar the scary lady is all gone but I think we both knew that pretty soon the scary lady would come looking for him. I stole the dog I have now from a party house because I could see that all the fighting and screaming was hard on him so I stole/rescued him (the scary lady was the loudest and craziest one at the house). When the scary lady did come looking for her dog I told her why I took her dog and luckily she didn't kill me because she knew some of the other dogs I had and how well they were treated. The dog had nervous problems for months after that so I would sometimes pat him on the head and say things to him like dar dar dar the scary lady is never coming back because she is stuck in a snow drift in Saskatchewan (she really wasn't but i... less

Well today she got into my bed and snuggled with me. I adjusted for her like I usually do and rhen she started moving around crazy. She was hyper! I kept telling her to stop (my cats usually listen to me) but she didn't.) The last straw was when she dug her nails in me through a blanket and then I put her out of my bed. She meowed innocently like she didn't do anything wrong and then she left...I haven't seen her all day today since then.

I was about 50 feet away and as I was running over to break it up I could see that they weren't goofing around or holding back. Then I noticed that our family dog was going nuts with confusion he would try to stop one boy from throwing punches then the other boy and so on. When I got to them I got between them and said - look what your doing to Sundance they did then hung their heads in shame and went to their corners. Pretty sure if I would of said - boys look what your doing to me they would of said - so what old man (back then I was getting on their 17 year old teenager nerves too). We have a great relationship now so I'll always be grateful to Sundance for playing a part in it (might be different these days if the fight turned into a 3 man fight). Cheers! less

Then if he starts giving me the sad puppy dog eyes so that I will change my mind and pass it I'll kick into tuff love mode and tell him all about what happened to Ron's parrot after it started smoking the herb. I could also tell him some genetic and medical facts that show cannabis is not suitable for him but since an adult dog only has the intelligence of a 2 year old human he probably wouldn't understand. So as his best friend I would have to just say no for him. I guess if he could still talk he could start calling me a hypocrite because I smoke pot but my house my rules. Cheers! less

The last week of the 28 days was the worst because we got hit with a bad snow storm so I started giving up hope of him ever finding his way home. But one morning there he was laying on the deck in 2 feet of snow when he heard us he started wagging his tail and it was like he made half a snow angle. He was very thin and his paws were raw and bleeding. We eventually found out these SOB's took him for a one way ride to hurt me so I started hurting them 3 kinds f ways (long - hard and frequently). I was sitting on my deck minding my own business when a bear came into the yard and started trying to push my apple tree down (so it could get the apples). It must of made me temporarily insane because I jumped off the deck and charged at the bear well calling it ever dirty name in the book. The bear ran into some heavy brush and I was going to go in after it but I noticed my dog had joined in on the chase and he was also about to head into the brush. I started thinking stupid dog that bear is going to kill you then it dawned on me that I was pretty stupid too (stupid is as stupid does - I guess). I would of probably went charging into the brush if I didn't notice my dog and come to my senses so I figure he saved my life. Cheers and happy weekend! less

My dog is used to chasing deer and a huge irish wolf hound out of the yard so he thought he was pretty tuff. There was no physical contact but I'm sure my dog got the message that that bird was too tuff for him. Cheers!
