Replacing clutch and differential bushes was doable but an uneconomic repair, would have cost more than the car was worth. And sourcing parts for a vehicle that old was also going to be tricky.So I've bought another one, this time a 2010 model. I got ten years out of the old beater and did very little to it beyond the odd grease and oil change, so it owed me nothing. They're reliable cars. Here's the weird bit:I bought the old one 10 years ago to the week, two days before Christmas 2014. Same age at time of purchase. And for exactly the same price, $6000. less
