Will you name a hobby most people would consider unusual?

Collecting fingernail and toenail clippings. That's quite unusual, in my opinion.

Any time I visit a new place, I find a cool rock to bring home.

That's a gneiss hobby, but I bet it gives your wife the schist.

It's kind of a fad. Or was in my area for a while. I still find things sometimes on my adventures out and about and I can see the appeal - it's essentially a treasure hunt! I do wonder about the impact on the natural world, though. (The things I've seen are in natural areas/trails).

Finding, identifying and collecting wild animal scat. I don't collect it but when I am in the woods I like to keep track of the number of different animal scat that I see. It can give a estimate of the number of certain animals in the area, their general health  and were to find then. I learned how to do it back when I was a hunter but now I just do it for fun. Cheers!

I also notice it, but I'm not taking notes! Hehe! It's nice that you do that, for the sake of science.

It seemed strange to me for a long time how similar rabbit and deer scat are to each other, but they basically eat the same things for the most part.  I see coyote scat on occasion. I'll bet you see a wide variety there.

I guess my unusual hobby is tormenting grammar cops.  lol. I just realized that I spent so much time picking on Stu and Randy that I actually forgot to answer this question.

Picking on the grammar police has it‘s benefits (see what I just did there? ahem).  It’s much easier to admit to having picking on grammar cops as a hobby than it is to admit to some of the much more weird things I enjoy doing in real life.

    it's its.

As far as hobbies go, it doesn't get any weirder than imaginary grammar cops dancing in your head. This post was edited by Stu Spelling Bee at May 12, 2022 6:54 PM MDT

It's a litle hard for  me too even deleberately misspell, ect. 4 realz!

It's like a strange mental exercise!

Randy and Stu should give it a try. Might be an effective treatment!
