If you had only one to chose, would you rather walk, run, or swim?

    Interesting question... can be quite deep if you think about it.. I love swimming but am not that strong a swimmer.... so it wouldn't be an efficient means of getting from a-b.. I wish I could run, I used to run everywhere... but now I can't... so where does that leave me... walking I guess :P

    The wonderful thing is you still do one of them.  Thank you for answering honestly and I applaud the fact that you still have an interest in doing something that gets you outside.  I know I get caught up sometimes inside with work and forget I need to get OUT and enjoy the world we live in.

    It does have a punch to it, the question that is!  I thought it to be so simple; but, as Adaydreambeliever pointed out, there are many factors that play into it.
    Sometimes it does depend on not what you would like but rather what your body allows.

    Physical problems keep me from running or swimming, and sometimes I can barely walk. So I would walk...but slowly.

    Walk. I can run, but not fast or far. Swimming is for cooling off in hot weather, not travelling.

    You write such hard question....  Can't you at least add a car or van or I'll gladly take anything with an engine....

    I could never ever swim to work....there would be to many people stopping and staring...:(

    First, where are we going?  If it's to an island, I'd better swim because, though I've tried, I cannot walk on water.  Nor can I swim through solid ground.

    Run.  It's great exercise, it's kept me in great shape, I do it all the time, I love doing it.
