What were they, and how did you find ways to feel hope, feel you could conquer it? How did you figure out a way to not identify that 'you' are bad/weak etc from trauma?

Like we say at work, "Do you know the difference between an adult and a 5 yr. old? An adult is taller." Meaning people don't seem to grow up emotionally and behaviorally, and of course this isn't true of everybody all the time. It's probably because life, at least in this country, has gotten just too easy with all the conveniences and creature comforts. I'm grateful for all the ease of the modern world though. less

I know from my endocrinologist that there are minor differences between men and women's vitamin supplements, but that there can be harmful amounts of certain things for the opposite sex if taken too often. I'm mostly looking for suggestions on what I could take or if this would be okay for me.
