We say things we mean at the moment but cannot possibly ever guarantee. Why do we keep insisting on guaranteeing anything whether it be a love or a platonic relationship when we know better?

But still folks fall for the words and take them seriously enough to vote for someone whose words mean something to them. They do this repeatedly and it is always the same . Over and over and over and over and over. Because we have nothing better to do than engage in periodic dog and pony shows to kill time before we die. :(
