In school, whenever we were supposed to create something (stories, art, etc.) I would generally spend the entire time unable to do anything, getting more and more frustrated by the minute. By contrast, I could never understand why everyone complained so much about maths because it was so unbelievably simple and easy to understand (for me, anyway). Even 15 years after graduating, it's still an annoyance.
Similarly, when given a word association activity, generally it can take up to 30 seconds for even a single word to come into my head. Also, when my singing teacher had me try to brainstorm song ideas, in the 5 minutes given to come up with related ideas, she wrote 2 pages and I got about 5 words.
For some background, I have been diagnosed with ADD, so that may be a factor.
Any ideas? (Other than "you ARE creative, you just don't know it") less

I was watching a program recently where a woman was attacked in her home and she spoke of this uneasy feeling that something wasn't quite right prior to the attack. I guess you could call it a sixth sense of sorts or intuition though some might disagree. Have you ever had this happen??
