Do they destroy those obsessed or are obsessions like buses that arrive and depart continuously throughout one's life? Can one have a life-long obsession that doesn't eventually destroy him/her?

What causes some people to be so uplifting and positive while others should be avoided since they are always the exact opposite? Is it just DNA at work and cannot be changed/mitigated? Are people ever in control or just vehicles for their willy nilly emotions/thoughts?

Allegedly and apparently their capabilities in this area are VERY sophisticated and state-of-the-art. I don't know if that's true bu t what if it is? Is North Korea a greater threat to us than Russia? Not limited to the threat of nuclear war but in attacking and crippling our electric/electronic infrastructure?
