Have you ever blacked out from drinking alcohol?

I'll answer before you ask me. No, I've never blacked out from drinking.

  • Once or twice when I was really young. One of the times I woke up with a huge knot on my head. Apparently my friends banged my head on the car door when they were trying to get me into the car.

I have an occasional drink or two from time to time, but rarely even get drunk.

When I think of all the dumb things I did when I was really young, I'm amazed that I lived to tell some of those tales! :)

Same here. Most times if I have one drink, my stomach throws a fit and I get sleepy and irritated. No fun at all!

    Thanks for your reply.

No.  I've never even been drunk.

Yes, I'm boring sometimes, I know.

That's not boring at all!  I think it's something of which any person can and should be proud!

I agree with Randy. You've also never had a hangover, and drinking to excess really ages people. You're winning! :)

I drank part of a can of beer in 1973.  That has been my experience with alcohol for the past 40 odd years.

Yep.  The first time I drank I had no idea how much was too much.  I was at the Pomona, California drag strip known as Drag City, made famous in the Jan and Dean song by that name.  I was too young to drive but my older friends, sons of a the owners of a car dealership, had a 57 Chevy and a 63 Corvette.  I was a great time but I missed out on the last part of it.  The next day was a bich.  I swore I'd never to that again but, of course, I did.

The famous last words... Of course we do!
Don and I know exactly where that is!  How fun.  I'd love to drive that 63 Corvette, even at 30 miles an hour! ;) :)

Cool story! (Except the part where you almost died of alcohol poisoning, of course).

That might mean you have, if you've ever been a drinker. Other things cause what you describe, though.
