No one knows for sure altho a few years ago they discovered there was a settlement very nearby and a causeway (which the main road happens to go across). The main theory still seems to be to do with the sun rising/setting between certain stones on the solstices. One theory is that it's perhaps the winter solstice not the summer solstice that was of more importance. It's interesting how there are stone circles across Europe and, I think the world. I like documentaries too.   less

I actually visited a long time ago now and live closer to other ancient sites. You could not get up close to the stones (there is a rail around them). So, not really, altho I hear that is the case with the pyramids at giza (overwhelming in size). It's much more special when you can touch them.   less

It looks almost identical to expensive brands but can contain numerous illegal chemicals. You can buy brands that are made in this country that produce very similar products but the packaging is not high end and the product is not quite so good. I would rather buy them. When I'm really ill days can seem long - if I don't sleep. Although it takes me longer to realise things that healthier people do like if someone hasn't been in contact. Possibly if I'm enjoying myself time can go by quicker.

I happened to just ask a question about how people find a sense of humour or lightheartedness in difficult situations and there it was, saying something like it's thought of as lucky in some cultures a good sign or something. Nifty cool little feature! ????I don't use answermug that much so if everyone's come across them forgive me????I think it may be a little more mobile friendly for viewing questions from different categories now. Not exactly mobile friendly but it is possible to view questions from different categories now which is good. Only thing I don't know how to do is edit tags when I accidentally posted a question midway through. I edit the question and description but couldn't find a way to add tags after I'd posted it. Oh and I'm glad I'm finding sage sticks not sages tick like my autocorrect wants to think!   less

  • Do you or someone you know seem to get the 'cleaning/tidying bug' sometimes that may be triggered by emotions? If so what emotions/situations

I know someone who sometimes just starts cleaning/tidying up and...  moreI know someone who sometimes just starts cleaning/tidying up and there's just no stopping her. She doesn't clean/tidy her own stuff/rooms much, in fact they are messy+she seems to keep getting a lot of stuff she doesn't need. She's often doing other people's gardening without asking them first and tidies/cleans/move stuff round in my room without permission - in fact I've asked her to please stop but she takes no notice. I am disabled and an adult so I do need help but it's overstepping the boundaries. I'm just wondering what is it that makes you/other people do this? Stress? If so, is it the same sort of thing people say to you that causes this, or a certain thing that causes the stress or just in general? Upset? Anger? Frustration? Anxiety? A whole load of mixed emotions? Some way of having control over things? For example?   less

I don't feel better or anything but I feel inside like for a long time I've desperately needed even a little bit of extra sleep.

  • Sometimes I just want to check/go on a group of FB but I don't want people like family saying 'I see you were on FB earlier'

I don't even know how to reply to messages like that, they're so boring! Then they say they haven't been up to anything when turns out they have and I've been ill and not been up to anything.

Also I'm agnostic, although I sort of want to believe or have a connection to something bigger/higher. Also interested in Buddhism.
