(I have sort of liked about two of her songs up to this point and have been highly annoyed by the rest of her stuff -- but this one I REALLY like! Congratulations, Taylor! Ha! Not that she needs my congrats. But anyone telling 'me' to calm down - - that's a good reminder for me.In reality, I've not listened very closely yet to the lyrics and have not watched the video. I love the "Uh-oh-uh-oh-uh-oh" parts with her ascending harmonies:)"You Need To Calm Down" Taylor SwiftEDIT 1!!!!! I had no idea of how GAY the music video is, ha!! EDIT 2 - - that looks like Katy Perry toward the end of video - - I think she and Taylor at one point were sort of fighting with each other or something in'real' life? Good for them to have "calmed down." And it looks actor Ryan Reynolds in there, too, toward the end, painting on a canvas?I have no idea of any of this - - I only now just watched the video for the first time. less

It contained the lines "I used to sing for fortune / I used to sing for fame", and I thought the first part sounded like "I used to sing for poitín". Poitín (pronounced "potcheen") is a kind of Irish hard liquor made from potatoes, so it would make sense in context.
