There was a Red tailed squirrel harvesting pine cones - they go up the tree chew the cones off and let them drop to the ground. I have been doing some part time help for her for her son, and as it is I already lowered what I normally would charge, b/c of her being a friend of my aunt (not mine)... now she had a baby, and I'm unsure whether to lower my range... most sitters will get more per hour for an infant, but not sure if I also take off a few dollars for her, or keep it to what I should charge normally?

(3 months)..I know this woman through my aunt, although before helping her with the first child did not know her, only my aunt did, and I gave her a 'discounted' range which looking back I shouldn't have; I would be getting more for one child elsewhere, but I was glad to even have something with her then 8 month old. How much to charge per hour , more , for an additional child (infant) ? I have looked online and people said 2-3 bucks more an hour, but some said 5 is more realistic with all the duties... what do u think? less

They pay you, set their belief system on you, sometimes try to control the day, etc. Not all do that, but you really have to click with the parents. The woman I'm helping was nice in the beginning/flexible , but in last couple months has been scattered, and inconsistent. She'd come home late many times, only telling me 15 mins before hand so I basically HAD to stay ... some days I wasn't even scheduled and it was a 'tentative' and when I never heard from her, she'd call me that day saying can you come over now? Never letting me know actual shift ahead of time. I let this go b/c she was usually kind to me and I love the little boy who is so curious, smart. She just had another baby and has not mentioned new pay to me, or even when I'd begin after her maternity leave. She m makes me wake up the toddler each time from his nap even though I don't agree that is helpful for him or th... less

Whose fault is it that people on budgets need to get the most value for their money and so they will buy goods made in foreign countries because they are CHEAPER? Lay the blame on whom for this situation? Why?
