And she has the kind of name that Beavis and Butt Head would love. But after reading her criminal case plan for the false electors I can see she is one sharp cookie that will see to it that justice is served. I included a link to an example of Fani Willis's excellent taste in accessorizing her outfits in a economical type of way. As well as a little bit of info about her and the case. Spoiler Alert - one of the things she says is - the co-conspirators — were playing an elaborate game of pretend that crossed criminal boundaries. Cheers!https://www.politico.com/news/2023/09/05/fani-willis-criminal-case-electors-trump-00114149 less

The 14th Amendment, Section 3 says "No person shall...hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, who...shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof." Trump has promised that he will pardon the Jan. 6th insurrectionist and that could be considered giving aid or comfort to the enemies of the United States. Cheers!

Then he went on a rant about how unfair the trial is and how he saved millions of life's by averting a nuclear war. Pretty sure if he tries to use that defense in court it will bomb. Cheers and happy week end!

Republicans are looking at ways to insert provisions in government funding legislation that would hinder federal and state prosecutors who have secured indictments for Trump. Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., a Trump ally who sits on the Appropriations Committee, said Monday he will introduce two amendments to eliminate federal funding for all three of Trump’s prosecutors — Smith, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. His office said the measures would block their prosecutorial authority over “any major presidential candidate prior to” the 2024 election. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/shutdown-wouldnt-halt-trumps-trials-republicans-seek-rein-prosecutors-rcna102152 less

They talked about the possibility that Epstein was murdered in prison and the possibility of Trump facing the same fate if he was put in prison. I think they were just paving the way for Trump to get home arrest instead of jail time. I think Trump knows he will be sentenced to doing time and Trump knows that the best he can do is make that time as comfortable as can be in a place were the KFC runs free. Cheers and happy weekend! less

It's a growing grass roots phenomenon meant to hold government to account. It does that up close and personal, and often times on the ground in handcuffs.
The “First Amendment Audit” phenomenon doesn’t appear to be led by any particular organization, but rather, seems to be made up of individuals who are interested in making videos of their encounters with law enforcement officers or other public officials. If the encounter results in an actual or perceived violation of the auditor’s First Amendment or other protected rights, then the video likely will be posted on social media and/or serve as the basis for a claim or suit. A violation may come about if the auditor is denied the right to take photos or videos in a public place, or is detained for “suspicious” activity or other reasons.

But she warned him to tread carefully before making inflammatory public statements about the case. And she let him know that if he did it - it would likely force her to speed up the trial date. I bet Trump really wants to share sensitive material but he really doesn't want the trial to start any sooner. I think eventually his big mouth will get the best of him and he will share sensitive material and Judge will set the trial date a lot sooner. Cheers! less

Twitter refused to comply with the order at first and they were fined $350.000 per day and that fine doubled each day they didn't comply. It is also said that even though it was a sealed warrant Musk wanted to warn Trump about the warrant. That would of gave Trump a chance to get rid of any evidence. Jack Smith eventually got to search Trump's account and I bet he found a ton of incriminating evidence in Trump's PMs. The warrant was un sealed the other day so I think we are about to find out a lot of things about Trump and his goonies. Singhal (a Trump appointed Judge) dismissed his lawsuit with prejudice, meaning Trump cannot file another lawsuit under the same reasoning. Cheers and happy weekend!

Trump is charged in the new indictment along with Carlos de Oliveira, the property manager of the resort and a new defendant in the case, and his valet Walt Nauta, who had faced previous charges. Cheers!
