One of the Grand kids noticed the Christmas snow globe on the kitchen table and asked his mother who the photo of the baby in the snow globe was. And she told him she didn’t know. I said – that’s the Christmas snow globe you gave us 7 years ago – I always assumed it was a photo of our Grand daughter. Turned out the kid in the globe came with the globe – like how sometimes a picture frame comes with a sample photo of a family in it. For 7 years I gave that snow globe a special Christmas spot because I figured the photo was our Grand daughter so I felt pretty silly. Cheers! less

The judge concluded that Trump had engaged in insurrection during the Jan. 6th attack on the Capitol. But that it was unclear whether a Civil War-era constitutional amendment barring insurrectionists from public office applied to the presidency. I think it is a - he may of won the battle but he lost the war type of victory. I think the judges ruling will reflect on the case that Jack Smith has going. So Trump will be on the Colorado ballot but if he wins the election he will be serving his term in prison for engaging in a insurrection/treason. Cheers! less

My husband needed to regain online access to his credit card. And the phone numbers they had were all old ones. He hates having to talk to anyone like this. So I called and just said "we" did not have access to the old cell phones and needed to update the number. When he ask my name I just said my husband's expecting him to ask for my husband, he did not. And he changed the number. I was shocked at how easy it was. After I hung up, my husband asked if I noticed how, the guy was having a hard time not saying mame/Mrs/etc. Anyway, my husband got by without having to talk to them. less

It doesn’t really look like we’ve been having world peace for the last 123 years.I see two obvious questions right away. First, I have absolutely no idea how people even get that out of the Bible. I’ve read it and I would never come up with that in a million years.Second, if it’s true, what happened on 1 December 1900 at 14:40 GMT? How did we miss Judgement Day?If you project back the dates of the events in the Bible, the first day of Creation would have been 20 October 4101 BCE at 16:00 GMT. One year is 365 days, 5 hours, 59 minutes and 16 seconds so when I add those two together, I get 1 December 1900 at 14:40 GMT. less

The unit for energy is the joule. The kilowatt measures power, which is energy divided by time, but a kilowatt hour is energy divided by time then multiplied by time so time drops out and energy is all that’s left. So, why not cut out the middleman and just bill electricity in joules instead of kilowatt hours? less

I’m asking because I thought it was usually 20 A for countries with 120 V mains electricity and 15 A for countries with 230 V mains electricity.
Anyway, I posted a link in a reply to Danny that basically asks an electrician the same question that Danny asked here, but the question was from a Canadian (Canada uses the same mains electricity as the USA), but the asker on that website has a 15 A circuit breaker in his house. less

We were up by one point with only four seconds left in the game. Things were looking really bad for us but we miraculously found a way to still lose the game after the other team missed that field goal. We found a way to get it done and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.”

This song, though, hands down, is my top favorite: "She's Got You"

Funny part is - the cause of Trump's growing wealth is Biden's strong economy.
There is a high correlation between real estate values and GDP growth. So Trump's new wealth is built on Biden's strong economy.
Maybe Trump will sabotage his wealth so he can say – Biden put me in the poor house. Cheers and happy weekend!

We're talking cyanide, arsenic, and all that fun stuff.I've found these numbers in different places, starting with a documentary, but here's one:https://earthworks.org/issues/environmental-impacts-of-gold-mining/

God seemed a little bit harsh in the old testament - smite your enemies and stuff like that. So I hope Mike is talking about a new testament Bible. Cheers!

Here’s the deal. Perception is reality.
And so when you look at the data that was provided in this poll, it talks about how people feel and when people decide whether they’re going to the poll or whether they’re not going to the poll, it’s all about how you feel in that moment. And so while the facts may not align with their feelings, their feelings are dictating their reality. Their reality is that they said that they feel better or they felt better when Trump was in office. But we’ve been trying to push back.
We’ve got some very popular African-American artists that are out here saying things like, “Oh, I got checks when Trump was in office. I want those checks again,” not understanding that really came from Congress.
So we’ve got a couple of things the perception issue, and then we also have an issue as it relates to civics in this country and people not understanding exactly how any of this... less
