I wanted to adopt my close friend's son after she passed away (it was her dying wish), but couldn't as I was unmarried. He is now placed with a loving couple.

So I took him and quietly put him to my breast and he started sucking immediately. I wasn't lactating but he continued sucking till he fell asleep. It was a most joyful feeling I had. Never had a baby suck me, and I can still "feel" his tiny hand gently pressing and caressing my left breast as he found solace in it. He is the only child I've ever soothed this way: an experience I'm not likely to forget ever. less

I don't know what to talk to them about or how to keep them entertained at this age!

There were times when I thought I would never survive her lol... she's been a struggle to raise... she makes me mad sometimes, she drives me insane, but other times I am astounded at how smart and savvy she is.. and she's funny, cool and very, very sweet.. She says I love you often to me.. lol ok so she also says she hates me sometimes but the I love you's far outweigh the I hate you's nowadays :)

I took two bare copper wires, about two feet long and wrapped the ends around the contact part of a light bulb. Then stuck the other end into a desk lamp socket. Turned on the lamp. The electricity arced between the wires, the bulb explodes and the cord caught fire.
