Today, the President issued an Executive Order Taking Additional Steps To Address The National Emergency With Respect To Significant Malicious Cyber-Enabled Activities. This amends Executive Order 13694, “Blocking the Property of Certain Persons Engaging in Significant Malicious Cyber-Enabled Activities.” E.O. 13694 authorized the imposition of sanctions on individuals and entities determined to be responsible for or complicit in malicious cyber-enabled activities that result in enumerated harms that are reasonably likely to result in, or have materially contributed to, a significant threat to the national security, foreign policy, or economic health or financial stability of the United States. Today when I heard the song it got really un enjoyable when they got to the part about the Monkey Man using Tweeter as a human shield and I started thinking would Trump use a loved one as a shield and then I starting thinking he probably would. Then I heard about the nice Christmas letter Putin sent Trump and I thought - good maybe it's a sign of peace. Then I heard that Putin said he would visit the United States if he was invited and again I thought good. Then I started thinking what if it's just a diabolical Russian first strike plan and then my imagination really started running amuck. I was thinking stuff like what if Putin convinces Trump that since their friends there's no need for such heavy security and then they get Trump and the guy with the launch codes in a room and prevent Trump from giving the launch order to retaliate for the incoming Russian missals - I was also thinking that the Russians would send a Putin look a like.
