But I've... moreI have a fairly new car and I have taken to cleaning it frequently. Washing and waxing the exterior paint and trim seems to actually result in...wait for it...a clean car. But I've found cleaning the windows to be a continual exercise in frustration. No matter what products I use or how diligently I go over things, I still see streaks and swirls of dirt. The past few times I've washed my car, I have NOT cleaned the windows...and I haven't really noticed any difference. I don't end up thinking, "Wow, I wish I would have cleaned those windows." Quite the contrary, it seems to me that the not-cleaned windows (other than the inevitable cleaning from spraying them with car wash soap, rinsing, and drying them) are less noticeably dirty than when I go at them with Windex and other such products.Does anyone have an explanation for this? less

The Olds was one of the worst cars I’ve ever owned: it had me in the Part-of-the-Month-Club in no time.~
