In the book, the main character, Jack Duluoz, is struggling with a mental breakdown and alcoholism. He's feeling hopeless and in a state of deep despair. His friend, the character Lorenzo, tells him, "Despair is just an adjective."
Lorenzo is trying to tell him that despair is not a permanent state of being, but a temporary feeling—a description of a moment, not a definition of who you are. The phrase suggests that feelings like despair are not inherent to a person, but rather fleeting states that can change less

It is more than just a physical address; it is a feeling of belonging, safety, and identity. While you can revisit the physical location, the saying suggests you cannot fully recapture that original feeling because you—and everything around you—have changed. You can never go home!

Trump’s Super PAC fired off an email to supporters on Saturday morning with the opening line, “Friend, I want to try and get to Heaven.” And he added “So if you’re with me all the way to the end, join with MILLIONS of your fellow PATRIOTS by chipping in $15 to keep the wins rolling in,”
He also had a part about how God is on his side because he beat crooked Hilary in 2016.
I’m working on a song about it – here is what I got so far.
There’s a dictator that’s sure all his lies are pure gold and he is buying a stair way to Heaven. Cheers! less

Bet Trump hates it.
Cheers and happy weekend!

I read that in part – Union Station is owned by private business – so I figure Trump is now taking over private business in the US.
Cheers!

The auction, taking place from 12 to 14 March 2024, offers both in-room and online bidding options. Interested parties can register and place bids at Propstore's website.
The motorcycle's estimated value ranges between US$200,000 and $400,000 (NZ$322k to $644k), making it a coveted piece for collectors and film enthusiasts alike.
I heard this one on the radio this morning and thought I would share.
It also reminded me of the time we took a train ride through Canada's Rocky mountains. Cheers!

I agree with them - but I am wondering if the GOP knows about it and they are covering it up.
A few months ago it was announced that Biden had aggressive cancer. And Trump showed his compassion by saying Biden and his team weren't transparent about Biden’s health so they should be investigated. We all go eventually so here are a few photos of were that might be - and who or what might be around just before we go. Cheers! less

It is because he resonantly criticized Trump’s use of the Justice Department. So Trump threatened to have him investigated for something that happened in 2013 (Bridgegate).
I don’t think Trump cares about Bridgegate – he just wants to show that if you say anything negative about him you will be investigated or sued. Pretty sure that is something that Hitler did.
Cheers!

Newsom will make a post like – I hate Kid Rock! I think it is getting under Trump’s skin and it is a good way to point out how ridiculous and un presidential Trump is. Cheers!

If you forgot who he is – here is a recap of what Trump did to him and his family.
Garcia was illegally deported - Then Trump said something like – oh well he is in El Salvador now so it is out my hands – Trump suggested to the El Salvador president that he will have to build more prison to hold all the people he is going to send over. There was also something about a smiley face tattoo that Trump claimed - proved Garcia was a vicious gang member. But after all that I’m sure Trump will throw out a little red meat on Truth Social and put Garcia and his family in danger. Cheers and happy weekend! less

I have been having technical problems with my pants. I seem to be losing my butt so my pants keep slipping down even if I wear a belt. So I bought a pair of suspenders. They do a good job at keeping my pants up but I’m not sure if I like them. I’m kind of afraid that if I start wearing them the next step will be wondering around mall – looking for music CD’s with my pants hiked up to my chest. Cheers and happy weekend!

I know two - one has published two academic books, one on Nietzsche, one on mental health and the criminal justice system. The other is the former editor of a music fanzine that was, retrospectively, considered important enough to have its own Wikipedia page, and subsequently wrote a novel, "Revolution on the Rock".

Parents are feeling the strain on their wallets as they prepare for this upcoming school year with 85% of Americans expressing concerns about tariffs impacts on rising prices and 7 in 10 parents expecting to spend more than they did the year before.
And I don’t think Trump cares about that. As long as they are smart enough to flip burgers for the 1% Trump will be happy.

I think he should because the last time he was at the WH – Trump and Vance treated him like a war criminal and would not listen to any of his concerns about Putin. Cheers!
