  • Down in the dumps about being an American? Embarrassed about it? Watch "Yankee Doodle Dandy"! What could it hurt?

Cohan the Congressional Medal of Honor for always honoring his country with his music with especial focus on those two songs. The song "Over there" was called an anthem in World War 1.. It is stirring and in its day was inspiring. What America used to be and maybe still is. . Watching James Cagney tap dance is a unique experience. It was like a tonic for me. If you've never seen the movie you might like it. If you have you know what I mean.My father thanks you. My mother thanks you. My sister thanks you. And I thank you!  less

“We have, I call it the ‘super duper missile’, and I heard the other night 17 times faster that what they have right now. Then you take the fastest missile we have right now. You heard Russia has five times, and China is working on five or six times, we have one 17 times, and it’s just gotten the go-ahead.” (Emphasis supplied.)Yep, "super-duper," I believe, is the technical term for the weapon.  The same term most six- or seven-year olds would use.  It's so nice to have a president with a vocabulary basic enough for the least educated person to understand.  Yessiree, Bob.  less
