When asked directly if she would have represented Weinstein Gloria said she would not have agreed to represent Mr. Weinstein since she defends VICTIMS of sexual abusers not the abusers but she doesn't wish to criticize her daughter for having done so. Should she? Would you? Having an infamous mom well-known for decades for representing sexual abuse victims, why would you agree to play any role at all in the life of an infamous sexually depraved individual? Everyone KNEW what he was/is. An open secret. Life is strange. You couldn't make this up. less

So an eye for an eye won't work in this case. Roasting isn't practical because it won't last long. They will burn up like Joan of Arc did and turn to ash. It has to be a torture that is unremitting 24/7 to infinity and beyond that lasts and last and lasts and lasts. Like an Everlasting Gobstopper. Any ideas?

Sometimes enough money can make it all better. Get rich quick. Of course it's a two-way street. Anytime you say anything anywhere that displeases anyone at any time you are likewise billed for it.

Anything visually like people or babies or puppies or kittens or sunsets or cars or homes or clouds or rainbows, etcetera. Also auditory like laughter and music and poetry and prose and the sound of rain. Ideas can be beautiful. Causes can be beautiful. Intentions/motives can be honorable which make them beautiful to me. People working together to help one another is beautiful. Putting others' needs before your own is beautiful. Sharing what you have with those who have little is beautiful. Extending kindness is beautiful. Life is beautiful. less

What the Janus Principle does is promulgate an evil agenda keeping the public fooled about the actual motives/intentions. A pleasant face that promises good while planning wars and deaths and devastation behind the scenes. I suppose every government employs it to one degree or another. Some people often pretend to be friendly while planning your demise figuratively or literally. The Janus Principle. Very somber and sober and scary methodology. Modus operandi. Any escape or are we forever caught in the web of the poisonous spider who will eventually be our undoing? less

Not for a piece of cloth. Why are some folks so insistent that symbols matter more than human beings?

As long as they have the money they can buy the best defense at the expense of public safety. What a lousy system.

I just barely read it, went to look for the answer, Then came back and it was gone. I tried to find it in the arts, but failed. Such a good question I could answer.

Experience comes with time on the job. The marks of da prez in this regard are woefully low. Does he know? Or is that something else about which he is ignorant?
