(His name is Turnbull but he's such a complete nonentity that the US got his name wrong.)Prime Minister Turnbull is about to meet with President Trump - and carrying a golf ball caddy as a gift for the POTUS.If Trump accepts, that's an emolument BY DEFINITION - and grounds for impeachment (as if any more were needed).

I wonder how many Russian "useful idiots" America has employed? Do all countries pay "useful idiots" to betray their countries? Even Switzerland? At least useful idiots earn their own way and aren't on the dole through welfare because they're lazy bums. They probably work very hard at whatever it is they do for foreign countries. less

For example he was loaded and yet finagled a scholarship for his kid by filling out forms understating his income substantially. A lousy example for his children, one of whom despised him! If you cheat why would you brag about it to your kids? Would you? What kind of role model is THAT?

I do not know its origin, but I swear by it because my mother did it with me and I carried on the tradition with both of my sons. To this day, tucked away somewhere in little plastic bags are tufts of their rich dark hair. Unfortunately, I do not know if it was/is also practiced with girls. I only have sons. ~

I am a people pleaser to a fault and while I have many opinions and views, I often just agree with others to make 'peace', to not argue or to not seem domineering. I don't even look people in the eye a lot b/c I feel so much less.. and this hinders me with guys/dating :( I feel I have no 'self' , no right to stand my ground or to even voice what makes 'me' happy (sometimes I don't even know what makes me happy or that I can obtain real love or happiness). If anyone else has ever felt their self diminish, how did you begin to find it again or build it?? less

I've been giving him 1/4 of a antacid as the vet suggested a long time ago. If I don't give it to him every day he cries to go out to eat grass. He must have a stomach problem. How can I get him low cost help?
Of course they can pretend they are your friend. If you are very naive and gullible as well as arrogant you might actually believe you pulled it off. Beware of being too confident.

I had an interview today.... it was challenging, which is good - I don't think I will get the position, (It's not a job but a placement for a course) but one of the questions they asked was about how do we recognise when we should hand something over to someone else... because they have more experience, because their style works better with the client, or because we are too emotionally involved... And I do think that's an area of weakness of mine.. that I always try to help people, that i go that extra mile, that I want to heal them, to soothe them to empower them to change their lives.. that sometimes I have to accept that they just don't want to or are just not ready to... less

I love how optimistic people are and how resilient we can be... but I think I am probably still right that sometimes there's no time to enjoy life when you are just concentrating on ducking to avoid shite :P I do also think it can be hard to understand how difficult life can be for others... to put ourselves in their shoes.. We should try..
