And yet ever since last semester, every single time we cross paths he'll see me and either turn his head away really fast or look down. There was even one time he was coming out of a classroom I was passing by and when he saw me he was like a deer in headlights and dipped right back into the room...so what's his deal?
And I'm pretty sure it's not because he "could be attracted to me but he's just shy or whatever", because I overheard him while I was working my desk shift in the student center a few days ago, talking to somebody about a date he'd gone on with this girl, and how awesome she was, and how they have plans for more dates in the future. less

We've always stayed in touch, and I even used to watch her child after school a few years back. She can be somewhat moody at times, but I've always overlooked that and we've shared laughs and similar interests. I see her on FB a lot, (although I rarely post myself) and she's always inviting someone out with her either from her new job, or another friend she's also known for years. She has not personally asked me to hang out/get together in about a year now.. last year I was the only one asking/inviting. By late last fall I noticed it, and kind of backed off. She has said these last couple months of the new year, 'Let's hang out and see each other'.. but still no text/FB / call etc. I don't know what to do, should I completely back off, as it seems for a year I'm the only one who has shown interest in staying friends... ON the other hand I know she has said twice recently, 'lets do lunch' and I just still kind of wait to... less
Bit cold today but the colours are fabulous; the yellows of forsythia, daffodils and the whites and pinks of magnolia and chinese blossom trees, along with blue skies.

Everything appeared to disgust her. I had to stand behind her at the register and all she did was complain, wrinkle her nose, and be annoying just because she thought she was so damn important. Her voice went right through me like a dentist drill. She looked like a miserable thing who just b**ched about everything and she was making me miserable!Uggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh! less

I always wondered what the FB appeal was for over a billion people. I've read about internet bullies on FB who stalk and attack and have driven some to suicide. Now we find it is also a place one can watch crimes being committed in the comfort of their homes. Amazing the progress we have made in technology. Too bad we haven't made similar progress in ourselves. Our ancestors used to gather in the town squares and watch hangings. Before that they watched beheadings. A few also watched "witches" being burned alive. Before that they gathered in arenas and watched lions devour human beings. Before that? I supposed watching a young girl being raped multiple times isn't as bad as watching a snuff film or other murders. I suppose one could call that progress. :( less
