This allowed DOGE to bypass traditional bureaucratic obstacles and immediately begin operations without requiring new legislation or congressional approval. The Origins: Obama’s 2014 Agency During the Obama administration in 2014, a lesser-known agency was created with a broad mandate to modernize government operations, streamline efficiencies, and reduce wasteful spending. The agency was originally positioned under the Executive Office of the President (EOP), meaning that it had direct ties to the White House but had minimal visibility or major operational impact.  Key Features of the 2014 Agency:  Already had a budget allocated from discretionary executive funds  Came with regulatory authority over gov...    less

On the front it said – Roses are red and violets are blue but no one does the YMCA dance quite like you.
And when the card is opened it plays the YMCA song and has a photo of Trump dancing to the song - and images of all the Government agencies he destroyed and images of all the people’s life's he destroyed - bowing to him. Cheers!

The US cannot possibly resource them locally in sufficient quantities to meet demand, the infrastructure doesn't exist to produce them.Secondly, declaring a trade war on your greatest ally is a clear message to the rest of the world to NOT trust the USA. He was drafted by Philadelphia a few years ago despite having no American high school or college experience and has just become the first Australian to start, play and win a Super Bowl (the "Monstar" Jesse Williams was on injured reserve with Seattle in 2013, he didn't start. Neither was he a rugby player, and Williams did play American football in college, with the University of Alabama).Quite a few Australian rules footballers have had success as punters, but Mailata is the first rugby player to play as an offensive lineman and be successful at it. Will it be more common now?  less

Trump just announced that plans to fire several Board members at Washington D.C.'s John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. And the said he would name himself chairman.
The people he plans on firing are the people that refused to meet with him at the WH during his first term. Trump claims there are a lot of Drag Queen shows that target youth at the center. There isn't – there was only 2 drag queen shows at the centers roof top restaurant and they weren't targeting youth.
Trump has used his 2nd term for revenge and his tariffs and deportation plan will do nothing but drive up the price of food and create food shortages in America. So I’m wondering what a cucumber sandwich will cost people while they watch the J6th choir preform - over and over and over again. Cheers!  less

EDIT: I am NOT referring to drivers remaining in the said driveway for more time than it takes to pull in and then reverse out, parking in the driveway, etc.________________________________
There are times when drivers need to turn their vehicles around when driving on a residential street, and the nearest or most convenient place to do so is the next driveway they see. It takes just few seconds to do, so it’s not as if they are parking there or even blocking it for an extended period of time.
However, some homeowners or renters of those properties get angry and/or defensive and/or confrontational when that happens. I guess they see it as some sort of infringement or encroachment or violation of space, I don’t know.
Personally, it means nothing to me if it happens at my home, I guess a partial reason I don’t mind is that I even do it myself when driving. (Caveat: if it’s an extremely large, extremely heavy vehicle, maybe.  But a passenger vehicle? Come&nbs...    less
