Some antique guns I've seen on Antiques Roadshow are quite beautiful. Engraved with intricate and meaningful designs. Gleaming metals or rare woods. I can totally understand those who collect guns like that. But how many guns that are fully functional does one need or really use? If you have 40 weapons as the Las Vegas shooter supposedly has would you use all of them? Just wondering. :) Oh. Also do guns increase in value as some classic cars do? Are there specific kinds of guns in which you would invest to get a good return on that investment? less
Bet you never knew exactly what an island was until the prez said those immortal words and educated you. Now you know and you have him to thank for it. Right?

Australia has had ZERO mass shootings since 1996. I Googled how many US mass shootings since 1996 and got nowhere. Too slippery a question so all the replies were slippery too. Bummer! :(

How many mass shootings has the US "enjoyed" during that time? What a revolting development it is. More to come. Stay tuned. You ain't seen nothin' yet! :(

But people do it all the time. Now the question is WHY?

The definition varies among regulating jurisdictions but usually includes semi-automatic firearms with a detachable magazine and a pistol grip and sometimes other features such as a flash suppressor or barrel shroud"Now when a person says "there is no such thing" about anything I wonder if he/she even investigated/researched/ used a dictionary or Googled it. Puzzling.
