I understand falling apart and being inconsolable if you're a child. But if you are old too? You've had time to get familiar with the idea of the inescapable fact that we will all die. My sister was 13 when our dad died. Her despair was more than mine though mine lasted six months. I was in my early 20's. I took it very hard. For six months. I'd cry whenever I saw a family who had a dad. I couldn't control it. Then I had a dream about him. A beautiful dream. It comforted me a great deal and I guess I just snapped out of it . He died in January of 1960 and I still miss him every day and always will I expect. But the pain has long since gone away. I know one day I will be traveling that same exact path. We all do. I hope how I die is as peaceful and pain-free as how he died. less

Want people smiling and sharing happy stories about you or crying and sobbing hysterically? How do you think your loved one would react seeing you like that? What do you think he/she would prefer? Misery/despair/pain? Is that what you would prefer?

But fight and argue and murder and kill we will anyway because it is OUR way of living a life. On the backs of those who are weaker and frail to aggrandize those who already have more than they will ever need and yet always want MORE. What a pity! Shameful. Hopeless.

October, 2016,UK Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn went to an event to commemorate the 80th. anniversary of when various groups marched to protest against Oswald Mosley's British Fascist Party, in 1936. Also in 2016, fifty Labour MPs and counsellors were suspended for anti-semitism. To date, no one has been sacked from the party. The highest-profile figure was former London Mayor Ken Livingstone. Having been suspended for a year, Corbyn just suspended him for a further year. If Corbyn doesn't practice what he preaches on anti-semitism, why should we believe him when he says he will help the poor, or the disabled, or the workers? As we head into an election on June 8th., the two principle criticisms being made of Labour are the anti-semitism, and Corbyn's weak leadership. Most people say they prefer what Corbyn says about helping the less fortunate in our society, to Teresa May's clobbering of them, but even many who identify as Labour voters are saying they will vote Conservative, or for some other party... less

Having your husband play golf in Virginia on Mother's Day while you and your son spend the day in New York (Trump Tower) or Palm Beach (Mar a Lago). Your hubby Twitters Happy Mother's Day to you. Maybe that's the deal. Melania and Barron live their separate lives and only when she has to make a command performance is she by his side. Is that the life of a billionaire wife? Being alone on special days? I'm guessing she prefers it that way. less

I am the diamond glints on snowI am the sunlight on ripened grain.I am the gentle autumn's rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rushOf quiet birds in circled flight.I am the soft stars that shine at night.Do not think of me as gone ---I am with you still ---in each new dawn. But the parents had parents too and so we can blame them. How far back do we go assessing blame for the abominable conditions we see today in the world because of the people, some of whom are despicable? Lousy parenting because of lousy goals and lousy morals and lousy views? I dunno. Do you?

Many folks seem to like things the way they are. No desire to change them.

What is there to prevent you from setting people up and framing them and then using what they said against them? Can a prez do whatever he dam* pleases and it will automatically be legal? How do we know such tapes haven't been dillydallied with and changed?

I don't know if that would be a good thing to do. I'm not a fan of ultimatums. I do not react well to them. Do you?
