The mystery is that Gtravels has blocked me on that site even though I use a different name there and I haven't interacted with her on that site yet. How would she know who I was? Or did she mistake me for someone else?

Replacing clutch and differential bushes was doable but an uneconomic repair, would have cost more than the car was worth. And sourcing parts for a vehicle that old was also going to be tricky. So I've bought another one, this time a 2010 model. I got ten years out of the old beater and did very little to it beyond the odd grease and oil change, so it owed me nothing. They're reliable cars. Here's the weird bit:I bought the old one 10 years ago to the week, two days before Christmas 2014. Same age at time of purchase. And for exactly the same price, $6000. less

A Hoser is an American that pretends to be friends with Canadians so they can drink their beer and steal gas from Canadian farm machinery with a rubber hose. Cheers!

I now have a reserved seat at a school Christmas concert. Usually I would have to stand in line with the other peasants – but this year thanks to my teacher daughter in law – I have a reserved seat. Cheers!

The ex-FBI informant who accused President Joe Biden and his son Hunter of netting millions of dollars in bribes from Ukrainian energy company Burisma has admitted that the whole story was a dud.
In a plea deal, Alexander Smirnov admitted to completely fabricating the conspiracy that became central to a Republican effort to impeach the sitting president. Smirnov agreed to plead guilty to four felony charges, which include one count of obstruction of justice and three tax evasion charges, in exchange for the end of two pending criminal cases against him, according to court document... less

But that brick wall turned out to be fence that Trump claimed was un penetrability.
But it turned out that that fence could be cut threw with a $10 hacksaw or pried apart with a 5 foot long pry bar. And the fence was only a couple of hundred feet long.
I figure if Trump used all the money he spent on the wall to hire more border patrol it would have been more effective. Cheers and happy weekend! less

First he said there would be 100% tariffs on everything – then he said 200% and now he is saying 25% tariffs on everything. Cheers and happy weekend!

I think this is the first of many campaign promises he will break – his tariff promises will be another one. Cheers!

* Finding out Actress/Comedienne Catherine O'Hara portrayed both the mom in "Home Alone" movie and she also voiced 'Sally' and "Shock' (of Lock, Shock and Barrel characters) in the animated original movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas"** and I just found out - - never knew til now! -- that Paul Reubens voiced 'Lock'! I love his talent and humor
* And I SO enjoyed finding out that FloRida used the opening 32 seconds of Etta James, from 1962, singing "Something's Got a Hold of Me" in his song "Good Feeling" (2012)I had no idea that was Etta James. All I knew was that I loved the f... less

I find them very distracting and I let them irritate me.And, also irritating to me -- I searched a long time attempting to find a simple "gif" of one of these headlights "in action." I failed.

It was more fun to me that way. less
