Some of them are very good phonies and can convince you of anything. Whether the perp admits/apologies or denies/lies what was done was done and cannot be undone. Why apologize? Are you comforted when someone apologizes to you? Do YOU feel better when you apologize to others, assuming you do apologize? Since we never know if the apology is for real or for show how can you ever take any of them seriously? Inquiring minds wanna know. less

Perhaps then they would believe. Or they would deny because they would not want to admit they were wrong. Some people go to great lengths to avoid that . Well this length would be an appropriate length. Experience what the accuser did and then call him/her a liar if it were a lie.
