His administration is killing unusually large numbers of civilians, in violation of U.S. and international law.Killing Civilians in Record NumbersThe Trump administration began to kill civilians over inaugural weekend, with two drone strikes in Yemen that claimed 10 lives. One drone struck three people on a motorcycle. The other hit seven people riding in a car. Neither Trump nor Defense Secretary James Mattis admits to having approved the strikes. It is not clear who authorized them. One week after his inauguration, Trump bemoaned the death of a U.S. Navy Seal in a botched raid he personally ordered in southern Yemen. Trump made no mention of the 30 people, including at least 10 women and children, killed by the U.S. bombers. The attack badly damaged a health facility, a school and a mosque.Over the past month, the U.S.-led coalition has killed an inordinate number...    less

Then on whom does The Donald lean for familial and unquestioning loving consistent support? Melania? Very doubtful that she is willing to do for him what Jared and Ivanka have done. What about Trump's  other daughter Tiffany? Why not have her live in the White House and take on the duties Ivanka did? Eric and Don Jr are busy running the zillions of companies for The Donald so I guess they're out. On paper anyway. Trump has a judge sister. Maybe she can give up the bench and come to D.C. to hold his hand when things get tough.  Maybe all presidents are lonely. Maybe that's part of the job. :(  less

I know we are love, kindness, joy in the flesh, but also sadness, cruelty too :( Do you think we REALLY mean anything in this world? I'm saying if there was no religion, no other story of what 'might' be after we pass, but in this moment as a human, what do we 'Mean'? And wouldn't it be almost lighter in life if we didn't mean so much... if we just 'were' ? I have put SO much pressure on all I do, think or feel, and it becomes overwhelming over the years. I was recently contemplating what if we all really don't have much actual meaning, but are just 'Here'? In a way it is refreshing, b/c I feel I don't have to prove myself to others and feel this constant comparison or competition EVERYone has with each other. What do you think .. ?  less
