While in full gallop running forward can you turn your neck (a la The Exorcist) and aim a gun and shoot the person dead? What kind of skill would that take? Do you know anyone who could pull that off ?

If so no problemo. But in case you HAVE answered any of them today I won't know it because I am not being notified. Happy Thursday to all and to all a good day! :)

We kids would have "drop-to-your-knees-cover-your-heads-with-your-arms" drills in school. How that would do anything if a bomb were dropped I don't know but I remember it well. That was then. This is now. What drills do we learn now to protect us? What methods can we employ to survive what comes next? Move to another country? I'm sure no country wants Americans to flood their shores. We would be IMMIGRANTS and we don't like them so trying to get folks to accepts us is ludicrous. If anyone comes up with any substantive ideas please share them. After all brainstorming does have value. One brain alone cannot achieve what many brains working together might. :( less

I don't know usually when she will be home either, it always fluctuates a half hour to an hour; which is fine mostly, but sometimes has made me have to cancel plans. How do I go about wondering if I coudl do at least one set time on either end (mainly a. m. ?) ...? I don't know whether to just keep bopping time to be accomodating b/c I do enjoy the family or say, 'it would be great for me if I knew what time I start...' ... ? less

It appears to be a "music" clip of someone shouting something unintelligible. The reason for this is? It seems to replay every time I click the Home button. Why is this suddenly happening?

I'm just intrigued, in a totally light-hearted way. So:What on Earth is that Sandra & Woo cartoon at the head of the page about? We see a young woman who, to use the correct, modern Claire in the Community lingo, seems to suffer from Acute Species Dysphoria; and her boyfriend, a nut-cake addict who believes he can cast magic spells with ordinary cutlery. I hope the so-called "religious right" don't get him - you know, the supposedly-grown-ups who had severe attacks of the vapours over the children's Harry Potter stories. Go on - I don't get the joke! Does it refer to an American children's game or something?:-)))PS: Claire in the Community: a BBC Radio Four situation-comedy that started as, and still is, a newspaper cartoon strip, about a team of urban social-workers and their own personal problems, sorry, "issues". Claire is the team-leader who prissily spouts all the rig... less

Flag-burning is constitutionally protected speech. The Supreme Court has made this CLEAR in a ruling joined by Mr. Trump’s favorite justice, Antonin Scalia. Grab onto your seats, America.. We're in for a bumpy ride..excon
