On the other hand they will take the accomplishments of others and steal whatever glory they can by lying about it. I don't know when or why honor/honorable became epithets. Do you?

Which way the powerful person chooses to use it determines who that person always was. You can't blame power for anything. It is not accountable or responsible for anything. The person wielding it on the other hand bears complete debit or credit according to how it is used and whom it benefits. Agree or dis?

The parents were afraid for them but VERY PROUD of them and would never have considered lying to keep them out of the draft. Have such young men been phased out of the species? Did cowardice replace service to your country? What happened why did it happen and are you a fan of such people? D'ya think it's stupid to put your life on the line for your country in a foreign country? D'ya think very smart people avoid their duty obligation and very dumb ones don't? The decline of western civilization begins with cowardice or just not giving a dam*? less

He portrayed 'Cyclops.'
PLOT SPOILER!!!!!His character was killed off in the second movie, by a female-looking lizard-like goddess or something -- by a lake, I think. I didn't watch anymore of the movies with him killed off. Were James Marsden and 'Cyclops' ever brought back in later movies in the franchise? (Heck -- they're super hero movies -- I figure he could cheat death maybe.) less

Pete Buttigieg, the 37-year-old mayor of South Bend, Indiana, is running for president as a self-described pragmatist who wants to bring generational change to Washington.
The Harvard-educated Navy veteran told INSIDER he's not ready to get into many policy specifics, but he's already put forward a few proposals — including expanding the Supreme Court and getting rid of the Electoral College — that are making waves.
Some Democrats say Buttigieg isn't ready to run for the nation's highest office, but others say the bid is a strategic way to build a national profile and turbocharge his promising career.

Allegedly someone on the inside said the kid was a sports recruit ....tennis or swimming or some second-tier sport. All told $25 million dollars were paid by the cheating parents to get their kids into choice colleges. Among them are USC, UCLA. It involved many people lying and cheating. No one paid attention to whether the kids showed up and perfomed the sport except the coaches who were in on it and they covered it up. Kids got admitted into college and there was no tracking. How it got uncovered or blown is yet to be determined. Just another example of RICH PEOPLE buying their kids way into or out of something. INTO college or bonespurring their way OUT OF MILITARY SERVICE. Aren't they all royally DISGUSTING?How sad that education is also infected with this ugly RICH PEOPLE'S disease. It teaches kids if you can't get what you want honorably because you suck and just aren't good enough just pay big bucks lie and cheat your w... less
