Some guy who pretends to be "tough" is really an old lady in Scranton who gets her kicks that way. Or some gal who pretends to be a very "hot babe" who is actually a 600 lb Sumo wrestler? Or? That would take away a lot of the fake that goes on. Would it also take away a lot of the enjoyment we get?

I was looking up the Northern Ireland debate (no I am not addressing that here!) and i came across some sites that posted downright lies and misinformation heavily slanted and it got me thinking.. it IS like the Trump debate too in that I Have observed otherwise normal people posting things that cannot be true as fact and posting rumours as though they are fact... and the thing is people seem to choose to believe what they want to believe based on their own opinions.. But truth is important isn't it? Why do people read things that an intelligent questioning mind would easily see were false and simply believe them.... I guess this is one tack in trying to get people to think one way or other.. and perhaps, for all I know both sides do it.. .but my question is. WHY don't people sit back and try to be objective... find out.. open minds... learn.. rather than just believing utterly insane lies? less

Every day is a feast day of one or more saints in the Catholic calendar. It is a chance to celebrate the daily mass of the church. The Feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe is celebrated with parades, traditions from Mexico (because she appeared in Mexico City to a poor peasant), music, and masses.I looked to see one celebration around Houston and found what one church is doing:1. They will start with a mass.2. Then they have a group of dancers called The Matachines to perform the dances.3. Then mariachis will entertain with playing of guitars and singing.4. Next, they will have refreshments and people are encouraged to have fellowship.5. People are also encouraged to dress in their country's tradition dress. It will be interesting to see the various countries represented in this diverse area. 6. People may also bring flowers to put on the altar before the mass is celebrated.7.
