She was charged with one count of illegal behavior.Lori Loughlin and her husband paid $500,000 to get both daughters into USC on bogus athletic scholarships There was much involved in doing that. They just pleaded NOT GUILTY. After the plea the judge charged whem with additional crimes of a more severe nature. I think at first they too were only charged with one count of criminal behavior. So I guess their punishment for not pleading guilty was to be charged with additional counts of illegal behavior. What are the mechanics of what happens next? Is this a typical way to proceed?
