Le Pen would get elected in France, and so forth. Instead, there has been a backlash, with supporters of liberal, democratic values rising to protest against Trump, and stop anything like that taking hold anywhere else. In other words, Trump has been a gift to liberals, throughout the world.I have avoided using the phrase left-wing in this question, because in my country, it means socialist, and socialism is not liberal. less

I believe Trump fired him the very next day. He knew Comey would not roll over for him as all his toadies do. Trump will not tolerate that. So he fires people! SIGH.
