I'm not one who enjoys being in large crowds and this one was very large but it was held outdoors at the Coliseum so I didn't get that awful feeling I usually get in closed rooms with lots of people. Being out in the open helps a lot. I kept looking at my watch to see how much longer it would be before it would be over. I'm not a rallygoer I guess. I was bored. The crowd was very hyper and cheering. I was bored. When I think of rallies I think of being bored since it was my only experience being at one!  less

What the brain embraced as real when it wasn't. When the brain is gullibly susceptible to snake oil salesfolks...con artist scam artists duplicitous knaves and varlets it follows believes and shuts out everything else. Some minds see right through that and are never affected at all.Other minds embrace it as a salvation or saviour sent by their CREATOR and are loyally devoted to it. Thus stunted mental growth. Can it ever be reversed? I don't know for sure but I don't think so.The best a mind can learn is when it is young. As it ages it hardens and firms up and solidifies and petrifies.  less

I just drove all the way to the bank to put something in my safety deposit box, went through their COVID-19 prevention protocols, waited patiently to be screened, met with the Services Officer, who held the bank‘s key. The first thing she asked me, based on what happened the last time I had been there about two years ago, “Sir, you did remember to bring your key this time, right?”  I happily responded that I had, and I proudly brandished it.  I then saw the Securities Manager, had my two forms of picture ID verified and copied, filled out the access form and went into the vault with the Services Officer. She turned her key, I turned mine, she retrieved my box, placed it in the privacy booth and stepped out of the vault.  Once alone, I opened my box . . . wait, where are the documents that I meant to place in it, the entire purpose for my trip all the way downtown?  Oh, those?  I left them at home on the coffee table, that’s where!  Grrrrr.&...    less
