The person has to be in your direct field of vision, no obstructions between the two of you, but can be any distance away from you. The power cannot be repeated on the same person for an hour after you use it, but it can be used on another person after 7 seconds. Anything that the person is wearing or carrying stays with him/her throughout the whole process.

Use your imagination, think outside the box, stretch the envelope of probabilities, don’t just fall on the “how would I know” or the “it’s impossible”. I do admit that it’s an extremely strange and difficult question to answer. This hypothetical scenario plays out in that of the two of your parents, one still remains as your biological parent, but the other one would have been someone else entirely. Basically, you would have the same mother and a different father than you actually have, or the same father and a different mother than you actually have. That someone else could be an actual person who interacted with your parent back then, could be an old flame, could be the next person who came along in his or her life, could be a famous person, could be a complete stranger to you, could be someone you dream up, the possibilities are truly endless. You are being asked to speculate as to who that person might have been. Nothing in this scenario s... less

Meh, as a species, we’ve learned a lot in the 20 to 21 years since that first hoopla, and we’ll continue to learn even more in the next 1078 years to come. There will be no “scare” as the year 3000 approaches. Yawnsville.B. Your tildes will still be just as worthless then as they are today, and your descendants will hate you for leaving them piles of useless junk. Start unloading them now to avoid the shame.C. In retrospect, the 1999/2000 ballyhoo will seem quaint and antiquated by standards of 2999. No one will be so silly as to assume there will be any problems.D. The mantra of the day will be: “We’re all going to die, we’re all going to die!” (Well, the people who will be alive at that time.) Mad panic in the streets.E. Advances in technologies will have by then surpassed human ability to control, contain, overcome, or understand it. The outlook will be even more grim than Y2K.

The act is not intentional, it is more careless and neglectful. He/she, not seeing that you are sitting in your car, just closes the car door, goes on as if nothing has happened, barely glancing at your car, and begins to walk away. For the purposes of this hypothetical scenario, even though you have not yet seen it, the force of the door making contact with your car has caused minor damage in that there’s a visible dent and the paint is chipped. You do not know the person, the two of you are complete strangers to each other. The person is still within one car length’s distance from you, at that point sees that you are in your car, makes eye contact with you for a split second, then immediately breaks the eye contact, turns his/her face away from you, and continues walking away.
At that very second, what do you think you might do?~ less

This is possibly in the very first conversation you have with the person, or it may be later on down the line. Is there a particular number of children, if any, he or she already has that would be a deal-breaker for you? The person’s children, if any, can either be minors, adults, or combinations of minors and adults. This question is only concerning the number of children, with the understanding that the overall decision to date someone includes many, many other factors. See poll choices below.

The engine of the bloodmobile was running to generate power for all of their equipment and air conditioners. The registration desk was on the sidewalk about ten feet away from the noisy engine, so the only way to be heard was the technician had to shout the screening questions. I thought it was extremely ill-planned.Companion question: https://answermug.com/forums/topic/125542/what-was-the-last-thing-you-shouted-at-to-anyone-and-why-did-yo/view/post_id/881082
