Hope? Desperation? We hear all the time that God will provide. Yet people suffer and die all the time. Why doesn't God provide for them? Do you believe anything you hear no matter the source?

When the computer says you should have more than the physical count shows it is called "SHRINKAGE". Or as is sometimes true the value of what people stole from you.In the olden days before computers. there were TWO COUNTS. The first one would be the benchmark that the second count should match. If it didn't that would require a 3rd count. Oy vey! So computers have materially affected for the better the taking of inventory. At some point he comes out and goes outside and sees the destruction devastation death around him which he alone escaped. First thing he does is head for the library the steps of which are strewn with thousands of books. He smiles. He is content. He is surrounded by his beloved books and there is no one around to interrupt him. As he settles down to read he drops his glasses and they are crushed. So while he has time enough to read he can't see. A moral in there somewhere. Maybe that you don't know how good you have it until you lose it? Be happy with what you have? That maybe what you have now is all there ever will be? I dunno. Take from it what you will. less
