A promise to make America great again taunts us. What was promised can never be. It's like promising to bake a wondrous cheesecake and using rotten eggs, spoiled milk, rancid cream cheese, crushed mothballs instead of sugar and poison instead of vanilla extract. The cheesecake you bake is only as good as the ingredients. We will all become very ill and some of us could die because we will be forced to eat it.  less

Every dictator despot has such an ability and uses it. These death squads go by different names but they are all the same. The goal is to silence dissidents. How is of no consequence to them.

The NKVD executed more than 750,000 who rallied against Stalin. Will Trump follow suit? He is going to destroy our existing Intelligence Agencies since he believes they are worthless. What's to stop him from replacing them with a US version of the KGB?  The better to keep the people in line. Say something nice or shut up. The penalty is death by government. Lovely. Hands across the sea. Wither thou goest I goest. See Putin in the lead and Donald J. follows in his footsteps. Why not? He said he could go out into the street and shoot someone and no one would abandon him. I bet he is anxious to prove that once again he is right. Is he ever wrong?  What better way than a government agency to keep people in line OR ELSE?  less
