1. I was a minor and my parent(s) wouldn’t allow it2. The place I lived in didn’t allow pets3. The cost of getting a pet or keeping a pet was too much for my budget at that time 4. It was a particular pet that wasn’t available anywhere I looked5. There were already other pets in the household, so the one I wanted wasn’t allowed6.
