Would he have been like the Muslim American who gave his life to save the lives of his soldiers? You know the one...the son of Mr. Kahn who offered to share his copy of the Constitution with Trump? Does Donald J. Trump seem to you be a physically/intellectually/emotionally brave man? Would he sacrifice himself for the benefit of another/others? I know we can't KNOW. But based on the Donald J. Trump he has shown to the world since he began his quest to be president, how do you THINK he would have done? less

If you are a target for attack on social media and cannot abandon it you will never escape it. Whether it is "the mean girls" or stalkers or really evil and harmful people you can go there 24/7 and be made to feel miserable. Some kids have committed suicide because of it. How healthy is that for anyone let alone vulnerable teens who live and die by the comments of the peers? Know anyone who has been irreparably harmed by words? It isn't the words that harm. It is how the target reacts to them that is the problem. less

They both have enemies and of course those enemies want to see them flame out and be destroyed. Both have enemies who HATE them so much they would travel to the ends of the earth to find dirt on them...the more disgusting/evil the better. Neither one is a saint. Both have lost any beauty marks we thought they had and now we can barely look at them for all the warts we see. Think of the bad witch in Wizard of Oz and multiply that by a googolplex. That is how repelled we are by both of them and what they have done or not done or said or not said. It is to our great discredit that we have elected them to vie for the highest honor we have to bestow on anyone...President of the United States. Shame on them but even more shame accrues to us. They did not do it by themselves. They had our cooperation/support. We may never ... less

Then she moved to New York and was a Senator for 8 years. Then at the request of President Obama she became his Secretary of State for 4 years. Back again to Washington, D.C. Doesn't quite add up to 30. Where is Trump's "there" since Hillary lived in Arkansas, Washington, D.C. and New York? Is Trump as bad at math as his charge indicates? Exactly what legislation can a First Lady create/pass? What single Senator from any state can single-handedly create/pass any legislation? What legislation can a Secretary of State create and pass alone on her own? Senators do not create and pass legislation on its own. It requires the cooperation and action of the House of Representatives. Hillary was a Senator, not a Congressperson. What specifically has she NOT done that she SHOULD HAVE DONE because it was within her power to do it? Any on... less

We pass on what we received and our children pass on what they receive. How do we improve upon whom we are so we can improve upon what we pass on to our kids? That's why we still have a problem with racism/bigotry/homophobes/misogynists/hatemongers. It keeps getting passed on. Depending upon your point of view you either think it's great or it stinks. Are you proud of what your parents passed on to you and proud of what you are passing on to your children? Why? less

They think that what they think is clearly best or they wouldn't think it. Circular logic to be sure but that's what it is. Same thing with religion. Yours is best and the others aren't as good or true or real. That's why we will never understand "the other". Because they are not us and we have all the answers. Right. So why are there still so many questions? less

His defense was that he worked with Contractors and they were the ones who were guilty of using illegal workers not him. That may be true. But was it wise to put a spotlight on a building that was already controversial this far along in a presidential campaign. What would cause him to do that at this time? The building opened for business a few weeks ago and is not all booked up. Was it an attempt to get more business for it? What would you have done if you were Trump? Why? less

He was defending Trump against the accusation that Trump is a sexual predator. Newt Gingrich has a checkered past vis a vis his treatment of women. He should be the last person to attack anyone in that regard. He is on his 3rd marriage and his treatment of his second wife was certainly not gentlemanly or honorable. But he has no self-awareness or apparently no memory of his own failings. So now he will become a target. Why does that seem to happen more often then not? Do these attackers think we are so ignorant that we know nothing of their past? I don't get it. less

If not then can both sides agree to do this? This is one of those things that makes america seem like a backwards nation that cannot do such a simple task.

If your phone had a touchscreen that did not work properly you would return it. Is it too much to ask that a voting machine work as well as something to order fast food or the cheapest android phone available?

That seems like one of the most simple tasks anyone could do. The reports are that when someone picks all republican there is a glitch that can blank out some of the checkboxes and so texas is using paper ballots until it is fixed. Actual voters report the glitch is that their vote for president is changed to hillary at the last minute and many will not notice and submit. less
