One of the donors was William Shockley ...that winner guy who told us that African Americans were genetically inferior, intellectually inferior and should submit to voluntary sterilization. Calling him a racist would be an understatement. A Nobel prize winner for Physics was our William Shockley. Shocking?

Could the GOP prez wannabe actually be that ignorant of what his ads communicate? I thought he was a hands-on guy. So if he is then he cannot used deniability as he tried to do when he denied knowing anything about white supremacy or David Duke. Using a racist organization in a political ad is not the best way to appeal to minorities. So how and why did it happen? less

I really love these girls and I really feel like I had the easiest job. They gave me such a huge lead all I had to do was take it across the finish line." You hear that and think, "You are a lovely and charming young lady, and you did more than just take it across the finish line, your acceleration in that last leg was absolutely incredible."
At the opposite end, after the Mens 4 x 100 relay, Usain Bolt was talking to the media saying, "I proved to the haters and the doubters that I really am the greatest," and he just came across as so arrogant that you find yourself ignoring the Jamaican team's success and cheering for the Japanese team because the announcer said that they didn't have the same foot-speed as some of the other teams but were incredibly efficient at handling their baton passes.
I'm assuming this kind of response is fairly typical. less

The Republican Party is still quite dead here.

He loved what Trump stood for and was excited to attend his first rally. He said all the people in line were very friendly and welcoming. Then he felt a tap on his shoulder and the head of Trump Security EDDIE SOMEBODY told him he would have to leave. That he had been identified by 3 people as having been removed from other rallies. No proof was given. No pictures shown. He was not even called by his name. He believes he was profiled and that's all it took. He will no longer support Trump. Would you? less
