Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Friday that Israel had no plans to relent in its attacks against Hamas in Gaza, as the military kept up its bombardment of terrorists in the Palestinian enclave and rockets rained down on Israeli cities.
“I said we would strike Hamas and other terror groups with significant blows, and we are doing so,” Netanyahu said. “Hamas leaders think they can escape from our grasp. They cannot escape. We can reach them everywhere — all of people and we will continue to do so.” less

First, the two seats next to the door plug that blew out on the Alaska Airlines plane were unoccupied at a time when most planes are jam packed. Second, an iPhone fell 16,000 feet from that plane and the screen remained intact. Need more proof?

With the kindest care and training in the world, any dog can attack other animals including humans; usually unpredictably, but unlike most recognised breeds this is one is specifically aggressive and unstable. Individuals of it have already killed at least two people in England. So it is now illegal to breed new ones, or to import, sell, give away or abandon existing ones. They have to be kept very securely, and must not be un-muzzled and unleashed in public. Predictably Scotland's wish to differ from England created a delay allowing it to become a re-homing destination for the creatures; as its own Parliament has acknowledged.Just why are such animals bred? Obviously money for the breeders, if there is a ma... less

Something is missing in my opinion which would take him from really good to really great. Wish I was a musical guru and knew what it is. Anyone have any ideas?

The dad knows this but he expects his son to stand up for the name. When the kid gets older, he hates his name for all the misery he thinks it brought but the dad gets angry because the kid should’ve learned to stand up for his name. This line of thinking makes no sense to me but I’m wondering if it’s some old way of thinking that was normal a few decades ago.I’m asking because this is the case with my husband who hates his name and his dad can’t stand it that he hates his name. My F-I-L was also really upset that he wasn’t given a say when my husband and I chose names for our own kids. Now that my F-I-L has been no contact for a few years and is out of the picture, my husband is filing for a legal name change. less
Automatic score! After 63 years I still don't know what grits are. Potatoes? Rice? Pasta? Pieces of nuts? Meat combo? I don't come from grit territory.

I have heard people on the internet, on TV and in movies talk about it. Is it that common?
