Many of the allegations were absurd/ludicrous/crazy but hysteria gripped the case and people believed all of it. The reputations of the teachers were forever damaged. All because of lies. Intricate lies. Fantastic lies. Detailed lies. Whether a lie is simple or complex matters not. The desire of the public to BELIEVE any of it is stunning, shocking, abhorrent. Isn't it?
