He thought it would always be that way. He controlled everything in his old life. His present life has shown him he really controls nothing. He works in concert WITH two other branches of government. He does NOT control them. He isn't used to that. It takes adjustment and acceptance. Can he adjust after so many years of calling ALL THE SHOTS? As prez he will NEVER do that again. Never. Can he live with that? Meanwhile his supporters joyfully and joyously give him what he longs for...acceptance/approval/respect/adoration.
