Could that actually ever happen in America? Could a doofus dupe become president and be controlled by a foreign country?

He also said the Cuban people didn't need anything from the empire (US).( Like a parent.) There is much history between the US and Cuba.
I am learning, from reading a lot, that other sources have called the US the American Empire. Are we an empire?

How many people voted? 700 kazillion? Now the GOP prez wannabe says the only way he can lose in Pennsylvania is by having the Dems cheat. Seriously. Where is the proof of massive voter fraud? Where is the beef? Just saying a lie is true doesn't make it true. Are they not weary of looking foolish year after year after year after year after etcetera and so forth? They repeat the lie time after time after time as if the lie is their proof that massive voter fraud exists. It isn't and it doesn't. But they keep trying to slip it by anyway. How dumb do they think we the people are fer cryin' out loud? less

An intellectually limited man took drugs and became brilliant...for awhile. And then it all reversed and he was once again intellectually limited for the rest of his life.
The movie "Limitless" is about a normal guy who takes a magic pill that opens his mind beyond belief and he becomes intellectually limitless. Fast forward to the end of the movie. He has stopped needing the drug because while he took the pills they changed the way his brain functioned. He no longer needed the drugs and he was limitless presumably the rest of his life. The change was permanent.
Two similar stories...decades apart...with different outcomes. Could that day arrive wherein we could take drugs and become intellectually limitless or does it stay in science fiction because it is impossible?. less

She is on tape lying. Why/how in the he** does she think she can get away with it?

He said he would authorize the use of tactical nuclear weapons in Vietnam and would CONSIDER pre-emptive nuclear strikes on the Soviet Union and China. Warmongers do not make good presidents.
His slogan was "In your heart you know he's right". The counter argument to that was "In your guts you know he's nuts"
Was he nuttier than Trump or does Trump out-nut him ? less

I was beyond ticked. I didnt have my trac fone with me, wish i had had it with me but they probably wouldve blown it up with their fireworks. and yes, i did call the police about it and told them so they could stop them from throwing it,i felt i needed to tell them be... less

So he always try's to incorporate the 2 things when he is trying to entertain me. The funniest thing I ever seen him do was when someone gave gave him a BC micro brewed light beer. He closely looked at it with a squinty eye - placed it on a fence post - twisted up his wrist and punched the beer off the post. Then he starts using his Popeye voice and saying things like BC Yuppie land lubers swill and sailors liking their rum and he will go on and on. But finally he will say - I needs me Olive Oil which is my Q to say - Thats what she said we say arrrr arrr arrrr and shove off before Blotto shows up. Cheers and happy weekend! less

To get a glimpse of the future of commerce in America, look no further than Sweden.
The Scandinavian country is largely a cashless society, with consumers relying on mobile phone payments or plastic. While the U.S. is still far from achieving the same level of cash-free existence, increasing numbers of restaurants and retailers are now snubbing the lowly dollar bill.
