I just woke up. Grrr. Anyone taking a nap for me and give me back my happy feelings?Often times a bad mood can result from lack of sleep, so if you notice your mood becoming irritable and your energy levels draining, it might be wise to take a quick fifteen or twenty minute power nap to feel refreshed enough to get back to work but not too much where your sleep cycle might be thrown off. Head home in the middle of the day (if you can), or take a quick nap in an office lounge or private office. less

Don't feel like carbs, meh!Complex carbs, not the refined kind found in white flour products and processed goods, can provide energy and properties known to enhance our moods. "Eating carbohydrates, preferably 100% whole grains, with protein-rich foods may boost the amount of tryptophan in your brain," says Keri Gans, MS, RDN, CDN, a spokesperson for America's Better Sandwich, over email with Bustle. Here, according to Yahoo News, is what Trump was responding to: At least 70 people, including 20 children, were killed in the gas attack (by Assad forces) in northern Syria. The cynical view: Historically, a president's approval ratings rise after military action; and Trump's have been very low - even losing among white men, his staunchest supporters.https://gma.yahoo.com/trump-approval-rating-likely-boost-200001528.htmlDo we have enough information to assess Trump's action? less

They (my friend and her bf) got together in the first place because he cheated on his gf with her, while she knew full well he was already in a relationship...but that's a long story so I'll keep it moving. So she basically asked me if she's over-reacting by not being comfortable with the fact that her bf still texts his ex. I don't know what to say since there's not a whole lot of info to go off; I don't know how long they've been talking, what they talk about, etc. frankly I know it's not my business. I want to say she's feeling insecure b/c of the way she got in her relationship in the first place, so now she's paranoid that his feelings for the ex may come back (I mean they'd been together for 3 yrs, before he cheated, so...). But I honestly don't know. What are your thoughts? less
